Our rose layout
Just click on the image
to see our floor plan and see how we managed to house so many roses
into such a small area. As you can see we have a small unit on a small
block, however with some careful planning we were still able to have
good spacing between each rose. Having the bulk f our roses in pots,
gives us the flexibility to move them into different positions either
for aesthetics or because they aren't doing well in the position there
in.
SIDE YARD All roses planted in the garden bed are Hybrid T's, growing to an average height between 120cm-170cm.
FRONT YARD With a little imagination, what was once just a barren entrance to our unit, we built a courtyard to surround many large potted roses. It wasn't long when we utilised the outside of the courtyard to expand our hobby. To limit the chances of theft, chained all roses to the picketed courtyard and chained and dyno bolted other pots to the brick walls. While most of the roses are florabunda's with a growth height of between 60cm - 100cm, there some are Hybrid T's with a growth height of around 120cm .
REAR YARD The rear yard is a work in progress, it will be filled with potted roses only.
